Writing Your Email Invites

  1. Navigate to your study and click “Invitations”.
  2. Click edit.
  3. Subject:
  4. No additional formatting is available but we recommend keeping it short and to the point. People are more likely to open emails with short subjects.
  5. Email Body:
  6. Standard formatting is available including bold, italics, underline, bulleted list, numbered list, and links can all be selected just above the body section.
  7. Personalize your emails by using candidate attributes. Click into the body of the email where you would like to place your attribute. Click the down carrot and select the attribute you would like to use. Personalized emails increase participation.
  8. Button: The buttons cannot be edited.
  9. The bottom box is for your signature.
  10. Click Save when complete.
  11. Previewing your email:
  12. Review the changes you made.
  13. Click “Send myself a test email”.
  14. Check your email, review copy, and click links to make sure they work.
