# Billing

> Manage your subscription, seats, payment methods, and invoices.

Billing is your account's central hub for managing your subscription, payment methods, seats, and invoices. Only Admins can access it, from **Settings > [Billing](https://greatquestion.co/subscription)**.

## What's on the Billing page

The Billing page has six sections:

1. **Current Plan** — view your subscription. Self-Service customers can change or cancel their plan here; Enterprise customers should contact their Customer Success Manager. Some Self-Service changes (like adding seats beyond a certain point) may still prompt you to contact support directly.
2. **Seats** — Self-Service plans can add seats, which are billed immediately. Removing a seat lowers your bill starting next cycle, it doesn't generate a prorated credit for the current one.
3. **Payment Methods** — add, label, or remove credit cards. Labeling lets you give a card a custom name for your own reference; it doesn't change the card itself. The card tied to an active subscription can't be removed.
4. **Billing Address** — if enabled for your account, store an address so it's included on your invoices.
5. **Additional Billing Information** — a free-text field for anything else that should appear on your invoices, such as a VAT ID or PO reference.
6. **Invoices** — available on Enterprise plans. View your payment history and download PDF receipts.

## Funding your incentive wallet

Wallet and incentive funding is billed separately from your subscription. You can generate a wallet invoice from the [**Wallets**](https://greatquestion.co/wallet/wallets) or [**Incentives**](https://greatquestion.co/incentives) page:

1. Review your current balance and the amount you want to fund.
2. Add an optional memo or PO number.
3. Submit. Great Question emails an invoice to your billing contact — it isn't paid inside Great Question directly.

Wallet funds are pooled at the account (or team) level and allocated to studies as needed. If a funded study is cancelled, the unspent allocation returns to the available pool, it isn't lost or tied permanently to that study.

<Note>
To change your primary card, route an invoice differently, or fund a wallet by bank transfer instead of card, contact us by email at [support@greatquestion.co](mailto:support@greatquestion.co) or through the in-app help option.

## Troubleshooting

| Issue | What's happening | How to fix |
| ----------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| I want to fund my wallet by bank transfer or PO instead of a card | Wallet funding isn't self-serve for non-card payment methods today | Contact support or your Customer Success Manager to arrange a manually routed invoice |
| I'm not sure if my wallet funds are tied to a specific study | Wallet funds are pooled at the account or team level, not owned by an individual study | If a study is cancelled, its unspent allocation returns to the shared pool and is available for other studies |
| I removed a seat but wasn't credited | Seat removal reduces your bill starting the next billing cycle — it doesn't refund the current one | This is expected behavior. Contact support if you believe you were charged incorrectly |
| I can't add more seats on my own | Some Self-Service accounts still require sign-off for additional seats | Contact your Customer Success Manager or [support@greatquestion.co](mailto:support@greatquestion.co) |
