One of the best ways to increase the investment in research is to get the results of your research in front of stakeholders. In the past, the best way to do that was to write a report or create a slide deck and present it in a meeting. But we all know that very few folks bother to read research reports and don’t get us started on the attention given at company-wide meetings. 👀
We heard from researchers (as we conducted research- yes, we're that meta) that turning these compelling customer conversations into consumable and equally compelling content never translated. Slides aren't the same as videos.
And , we knew that researchers who conduct these customer interviews can see and feel the customers' true experience. You can hear it in their voice or see it in their face as they rave or complain about a new feature. How great would it be to bottle that emotion up so everyone could see what you see?
Studies have shown that adding video can improve one’s ability to remember concepts and details — with effects that even increase over time. Viewers retain 95% of a message when they watch it in a video compared to 10% when reading it in text.
All that data led us to one conclusion. Someone has to build something to make this better.
Yes…
you guessed it,
we went and did it.
We are happy to announce the release of Highlight Reels.
In a matter of seconds, you can grab tagged sections of interview recordings, put them into a single video reel and share out that video with stakeholders.
With Highlight Reels you have:
You can track who views your highlight reel and you can even share these links with folks outside your organization, just like I did here.
Highlight Reels are just one of the many great things about our UX Repository. And, our UX Repository is included for free with all of our plans. So, you can do everything from managing a panel of customers to conducting research with our slick research calendar, research templates and incentives to storing and sharing everything in our repo.
We'd love for you to check it out and let us know what you think.
