Why it matters
Domain-specific terms, product names, and acronyms get transcribed correctly more consistently, so you spend less time fixing errors after every session. Accurate transcripts are also easier to search, tag, and use to surface the right moments later in your Repository.Common use cases
Add keyterms to your account
Keyterms are managed account-wide from Settings → Transcription, and only Admins can add or edit them.- Click your profile name in the top-left corner and go to Settings.
- Select Transcription.
- In the Keyterms section, click Add Term.
- Type the term exactly as you want it recognized, then save.
If you need more keyterms, contact support@greatquestion.co so we can talk through your list.
Editing and removing terms
Duplicate terms aren’t allowed, regardless of capitalization. If you try to add one that already exists, you’ll see an alert. Made a typo? Edit the existing term rather than deleting and re-adding it. You’ll see a confirmation message whenever a term is added, edited, or removed.Keyterms are account-wide only right now. There isn’t a study- or team-level setting yet, but it’s on our radar if it becomes a common need.
Best practices
Start with your most common pain points: add the terms that show up most often in your sessions and are most frequently mistranscribed, rather than trying to build an exhaustive list right away. Keep terms short and specific, since single words or short phrases work best and full sentences or overly generic words aren’t likely to be misheard in the first place. Revisit your list periodically as your product, team, or industry vocabulary evolves, so accuracy keeps pace.Troubleshooting
