Permissions

Learn how permissions work in Great Question and how Admins can control access, authentication, and feature visibility across the workspace.

What are Permissions?

Permissions in Great Question define who can access, manage, and view different parts of your workspace. They’re part of the platform’s role-based access control — designed to help teams collaborate securely while maintaining control over sensitive data and workspace actions.

Why permissions matter
  • Maintain data privacy by controlling access to personally identifiable information (PII).
  • Ensure secure collaboration — only the right people can create, edit, or export data.
  • Support flexible access across teams with different levels of responsibility (Admin, Creator, Observer).
  • Simplify onboarding by allowing domain-based observer access where applicable.

Workspace Access

  • Allows users with an approved email domain to join the workspace as Observers without a direct invitation.

⚠️ If your account doesn’t have a verified domain set up, contact [email protected] to enable this feature.
